At the craft beer specialty shop "Onaji Ana no Mujina" in Kobe's Sannomiya, Barbaric WORKS' "MASTER HEIR" was tapped. The post introduced it as "the first Barbaric WORKS at Mujina," and compared it with the lineup the bar usually serves, describing it as a beer that leans a little more toward an old-school style.

The beer is an IPA / ABV 8% / IBU 49. It uses Mosaic hops, and the aroma is mainly peach, berry, and tropical notes. On the palate, however, there is a strong maltiness, and the presence of grain gradually rises in the mouth. The body is substantial, and the finish carries a warm alcohol character, so this is not the kind of beer that simply goes for light drinkability. It is an IPA you will want to take your time with.

Onaji Ana no Mujina is a beer pub in the Sannomiya area of Chuo Ward, Kobe City. It serves craft beers from Japan and abroad on tap, and also offers canned and bottled beers inside the shop. With the owner’s selections, it is the kind of place where you can find the "one you want to drink now," and, as in this case, you can also come across guest beers that are a little different from the usual lineup. If you want to taste both malt depth and hop aroma at the same time, this is one to check out.
