CRAFT BEER MARKET Kichijoji Pennylane, a beer pub along Penny Lane in Kichijoji, has added three new beers on tap. According to the shop's Instagram post, the lineup includes two beers from Far Yeast Brewing and a chocolate stout from Iwate Kura Beer, giving drinkers three distinct styles to choose from: a sour, an IPA, and a dark beer with roasted depth.
New beers on tap
- Far Yeast Brewing Sumomo Salty Sour (SOUR)
- Far Yeast Brewing IPA (IPA)
- Iwate Kura Beer Chocolat Stout (BLACK)
The shop is a three-minute walk from Kichijoji Station North Exit and operates with lunch and dinner on weekdays, plus all-day service on weekends and holidays. It serves around 30 rotating craft beers each day, along with more than six kinds of house-made gyoza. With snacks and spice curry also on the menu, it works well for both a quick drink and a full meal.
The appeal is not only the beer count but also the range. You can start light with the sour, stick to a classic IPA, or finish with the stout. For beer fans in Kichijoji, it is the kind of place where choosing the first pint is part of the pleasure.
