CIDER SHACK adds Matsumoto Brewery’s LYLA and Ross-on-wye cider
CIDER SHACK, a beer pub in Higashi, Shibuya, has announced new guest pours. The lineup includes Matsumoto Brewery’s spiced saison LYLA and Ross-on-wye’s Birdbarker 2025 medium sparkling cider.
Guest pours
CIDER SHACK has added two new guest drinks to the board. The first is Matsumoto Brewery’s "LYLA" (Rira), a spiced saison made in collaboration with the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival. At 4% ABV, it is a light, easy-drinking beer, but the style still brings the layered aroma and subtle seasoning expected from a saison with added spice. The festival tie-in gives it an extra point of interest for drinkers who like beers with a clear story behind them.
The second pour is Ross-on-wye’s "Birdbarker 2025 - Medium Sparkling Cider." The bar describes it as very fresh, and its presence broadens the lineup beyond beer for guests who are also looking for cider. That mix fits CIDER SHACK well: a beer pub, but one that keeps the guest rotation flexible enough to appeal to cider drinkers too.
Located in Higashi, Shibuya, Tokyo, CIDER SHACK is open from 17:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and from 14:00 to 24:00 on weekends and holidays. It is the kind of place that works for an after-work stop as well as a slightly earlier visit. With the weather turning toward rain, the current guest selection gives regulars and newcomers a clear reason to drop in and see what is pouring.
