GOLDEN BREWERY, located in Nishifukuma, Fukutsu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is announcing that it will set up at the "La Jolla Market" to be held on Sunday, April 20, at Oka Hachi Cafe in Munakata City. The venue will bring together 29 shops, including this one, and the event is being introduced as something visitors can enjoy from 11:00 a.m. until around 4:00 p.m.

GOLDEN BREWERY completed construction of its brewery in 2023 and began making craft beer in Fukutsu. On its official website, the brewery says it values beer-making that focuses not only on flashiness, but on drinkability and a pleasant finish. At the attached "GOLDEN BREWERY CAFE," guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer and food in a quiet space, and dogs are also welcome.

Among the brewery's representative labels is the Hazy IPA "Creamy Rich," which won a silver award at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2025. It has been praised for balancing a tropical aroma with easy drinkability, and has been presented as a beer that even first-time craft beer drinkers can enjoy.

This La Jolla Market appearance is also worth noting as a move that expands the brewery's activity from Fukutsu, where it is based, to Munakata. What kind of encounters will it create in a local-event setting, different from having a drink at the brewery itself? It is an announcement that lets us take another look at the current position of craft beer nurtured in the seaside town of Fukutsu.
