RIOT BEER, a brewpub at 5-11-10 Kinuta in Setagaya, Tokyo, has shared an update covering its opening hours and a run of upcoming appearances. On Tuesday, Aug. 11, the shop will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the post describing it as "Junko's obanzai day." It is the kind of setup that makes sense for a brewpub: fresh beer on site, paired with food and an easygoing neighborhood pace.

The main event in the post is the Aug. 16 "Juki Radio Control / Safety First Setagaya Site / Riot Summer Festival." According to the announcement, the festival will feature radio-controlled construction machines that both kids and adults can enjoy, plus prize items such as beer vouchers, safety goods, Riot gear, snacks, bottled beer, and pint glasses used at the Kofu Beer Festival. Food will be provided by Shokudo Hoshibana.

RIOT BEER also said its house beer line, "Bodo Bakushu," is available through its online shop for nationwide shipping. Beyond the brewpub itself, the schedule points to a busy season ahead, with appearances lined up for Fujisawa Market 251 on Aug. 21-22, Yoyogi Summer Festival on Aug. 29-30, Chitobeer in Chitose-Funabashi from Sept. 11-13, and Fuchu Beer Garden on Sept. 12. It is a steady reminder that this Setagaya brewery is active both at home and on the road.
