Food Suggestions to Pair with a Spring Pour

Sakazuki Brewing in Tokyo's Adachi Ward announced its April operating schedule and plans for its "Food Pairing Day" on Instagram. In the post, the brewery described beers with a gorgeous yet somehow understated aroma and a clean, refreshing finish as "like a Japanese spring breeze," introducing them as the perfect beer for the season.

Draft Beer and Pairings Scheduled for the 15th, 22nd, and 30th

In the post section titled "Tapped Beers and Food Pairing Day," the lineup showed the debut of 《Hatsukaze》 on Wednesday, April 15; an untitled original beer from Original Beer Brewing Rights 2025 on Wednesday, April 22; and another untitled beer scheduled to be tapped on Thursday, April 30. The beer on the 15th is introduced as a sake-yeast beer with a yuzu aroma, making for a lineup that feels distinctly seasonal.

Dishes Designed to Bring Out Seafood Umami

For the pairing food, the brewery says it will serve carpaccio that highlights the delicate umami of seafood. Centering the pairing on the beer's aroma and crisp finish, the setup is designed so guests can enjoy how well the drinks and food work together, clearly reflecting the shop's emphasis on the connection between "mouthfeel and cuisine." The post also says reservations are already open and encourages people to stop by casually.

Holiday Service on the 29th Too

The brewery also announced that it will hold special business hours on Wednesday, April 29, a public holiday, opening at 13:00. Sakazuki Brewing continues to offer draft beer and food suggestions that suit the season from Adachi Ward, and this announcement again shows that style clearly. Enjoying the beer not only on its own but together with food should make its springlike character stand out even more.
