WhaleBrewing Yobuko Craft Beer Brewery announced in an Instagram post at 10:36 a.m. on March 13, 2026 that it will be exhibiting at the "Sagastyle Outdoor Fest." The post says the brewery will take part in the event, which will be held on Sunday, March 28 at Yoshinogari Historical Park, using a kitchen car.
The beers to be served that day are two varieties of fresh craft beer finished at the brewery:
- Pale Ale
- Weizen
Both will be available freshly poured from the tap. In addition, the food offering will include "ika tsumire," a Yobuko specialty. The post emphasizes how well it pairs with beer. The brewery also says the Kondo couple, the brewers, will be serving at the venue, making it a chance to speak directly with the people who make the beer.
WhaleBrewing is a brewery based in Yobuko, a port town in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. On its official website, the company says it began as a project to restore an 80-year-old traditional house into a brewery, with the goal of bringing people back together in the community. For a brewery that continues making beer rooted in the character of Yobuko, exhibiting at an event in the prefecture should be a valuable opportunity to share its local flavor more widely.
It will be a spring outdoor event where visitors can compare craft beers from Saga and Yobuko. Beer fans planning to attend the festival should be sure to check out WhaleBrewing's kitchen car.
