Beer&Cafe Hafen in Esaka, Suita, Osaka, is now serving 3O2, an original collaboration beer from Akitaakura Beer and Togakushi.

The beer is the second batch released in roughly a year. According to the pub, this version is built around citrus-focused hop aromas while retaining a clear malt character, giving it both aromatic brightness and a fuller malt profile. The pub recommends ordering a US pint or larger for guests who may find a half serving too small.

3O2 is described as a beer that may only be available at Beer&Cafe Hafen and in Akita. Since the previous release was popular, beer fans are encouraged to visit early while the keg lasts.

The current tap list also includes Minoh Beer’s Momo Weizen Shimizu Hakuto Version and HINO BREWING’s Bremen Ale. Future stock listed by the pub includes Ise Kadoya Brewery’s Sansho Lager and Oktoberfest Lager, along with Daisen G Beer’s Weizen Hop.

Beer&Cafe Hafen also offers food to pair with its rotating taps, including pork and egg with island garlic soy marinade, tofu champuru, and juicy rice-ball snacks made with cooked rice. Dessert options include panna cotta scented with island brown-sugar rum. Non-drinkers can also choose a premium straight peach juice.

The pub is a small venue, so reservations are recommended for groups of three or more dining together. Guests should check the pub’s social media for the latest opening information.
