Meguro beer pub "BeerPub SCENT" has announced its tap lineup for April 26. In addition to Heartland and the permanent Guinness, the lineup ranges from real ales to domestic and international IPAs and even a sour, with business hours from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Meguro beer pub "BeerPub SCENT" (1-6-15 Meguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo) announced its April 26 lineup on Instagram. The bar is open from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with a selection suited to a relaxed nightcap.
The taps for the day featured a wide range of styles, including the staple Heartland and the permanent Guinness. Among the domestic offerings, Kanpai Brewing’s "Kikuzaka Bitter / Ordinary Bitter" appeared as a real ale. Minoh Beer’s "Pale Ale / Pale Ale" was also listed as a real ale, making well-paced, contemplative beers the core of the lineup.
The IPA selection was also strong. A collaboration between DOGFISH HEAD x OXBOW x SHIGA KOGEN, "Kind of Gold / Imperial IPA," Trap Door’s "Tang / Hazy IPA," and Our Brewing’s "Hop Breeze / West Coast IPA" lined up three beers with distinct aromatic and bitter directions. In addition, DD4D’s "Choodee Gwaabushi / Sour Ale" was included, creating a lineup with a broad range for side-by-side tasting.
SCENT is known as a beer pub around Meguro Station where craft beer can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, balancing staples and limited releases. This day’s lineup also ranged from easy-drinking options to more characterful pours, making it an easy stop before or after a meal.
