A new seasonal release is coming from GROUNDTAP BREWERY in Iyo-Saijo, Saijo City, Ehime. This time, the beer is "TSUTSUJI (Tsutsuji)". It is a Hazy IPA with an ABV of 7.0%. The hops used are Idaho7, El Dorado, and Nelson Sauvin.

According to the brewery, the aroma is centered on fruit notes reminiscent of ripe mango and berries. The body leans light to medium, with a soft mouthfeel, while the finish is designed to leave a fresh, grassy aftertaste. The label, inspired by the Akebono-tsutsuji azaleas that bloom across the Ishizuchi mountain range in spring, also adds a seasonal touch.

Sales begin at PREP ROOM on April 9 and at TAP ROOM on April 10. In addition, a release event will be held at TAP ROOM starting at 6:00 p.m. on April 10, where the brewer himself is scheduled to explain the new product. It looks like a chance to hear directly from the maker while tasting a freshly finished beer on site.

GROUNDTAP BREWERY is known as a brewery that captures the atmosphere of local Saijo. Along with taproom service, it also offers can and keg sales for commercial accounts, making this a release that reaches both those who drink it on location and those who encounter it later at restaurants and bars. Fans of fruit-forward Hazy IPAs will likely want to keep this spring release on their radar.
