umbrella, a beer pub in Osaka's Sonezaki district, opened at 6 p.m. on June 30. The basement room centers on the counter, making it the kind of place where a focused tap list feels especially natural.

Two new kegs were added today:

- Oomukade West Coast IPA / Two Rabbits Brewing (Shiga) - 7.0%
- Ichigo Ichie / Eagre Brewery (Hyogo) x umbrella (Osaka) - 5.0%

The tap list also includes Tea Bitter / Minoh Beer (Osaka), Draught Guinness, and Kirin Lager. That gives the bar a clear range of styles, from hop-forward IPA to fruit ale, bitter, stout, and lager, which makes side-by-side tasting straightforward.

The bar is also selling a beer ticket set: six smallest-size pours of craft beer for 5,800 yen. At umbrella, the ticket can also be used for a Guinness pint. It is valid for six months from purchase and available while supplies last.

Upcoming schedule notes: the bar is closed on Sunday, July 5. It will also be closed on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12 for the umbrella RiB 10th anniversary party. It is a practical stop for a post-work pint or a short tasting session.
