Butterfly Brewery to Hold Second Biarun in Aichi on April 12
Butterfly Brewery, based in Aichi, will hold the second installment of its hosted event "Biarun" on Sunday, April 12, 2026. This time's theme is "Nagoya Women's Marathon celebration party & cherry blossom run." They are recruiting participants for a program that combines running and craft beer.
Event Overview
The Biarun announced by Butterfly Brewery on its official website is a plan that combines a Nagoya Women's Marathon celebration party with a cherry blossom run. It will be held as a sequel to the original self-organized event that was well received last time.
On the day, participants will meet in front of the ticket gates at JR Tsurumai Station's Park Exit at 9:00. From there, they will go on a run while enjoying the cherry blossoms until about 10:30, pass through a bath facility, and then head to SAKURAYAMA BEER for the after-party starting at 12:00.
After-Party Details
According to the announcement, the after-party will run from 12:00 to 15:00, and the following will be provided:
- Six kinds of craft beer from Butterfly Brewery (2 hours of all-you-can-drink)
- Six snacks, including appetizers, cheese, smoked items, steamed dishes, grilled items, and fried items
- The participation fee is 5,500 yen per person (tax included)
The capacity is about 24 people. Applications are accepted via Instagram direct message or by phone at the contact number provided in the announcement. Marathon finishers from the Nagoya Women's Marathon will also receive a bottle of beer as a bonus if they declare it in advance.
Points to Check Before Joining
Cancellations must be made by two days before the event; after that, a cancellation fee of up to the full amount may apply. Spring running events can involve large temperature differences, so it is reassuring to prepare separate gear for the run and items for when you join the after-party.
It is worth noting that this craft brewery from Aichi is designing not only brewing, but also an experience of "running, drinking, and gathering locally." This is a day to watch as a local, community-based event that does more than just let you "drink" beer.
