Osaka's beer pub `umbrella` in the Sonezaki area of Kita Ward posted its business notice for an April 21 (Tue) 6 p.m. opening. In the post, it called on customers by saying, "We still have seats available," while also listing that day's draft beers.

Today's Draft Beer

- NEW Onikouyou IPA / Onidensetsu Beer (Hokkaido)
- Cheers Ale / Eigre Brewery (Hyogo) x Inakiku Sake Shop (Osaka)
- Rockin' Osaru IPA / Minoh Beer (Osaka)
- Draft Guinness / Guinness (Ireland)
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Beer (JP)

Looking at the lineup, it ranges widely from craft beer new releases and staples to Guinness and Kirin Lager, making it easy to build a tasting axis at one shop. If you like IPA, Onidensetsu Beer and Minoh Beer stand out; if you want to mix in a light ale, Eigre Brewery's "Cheers Ale" is the one to watch. The descriptions for each draft also include the style, with NEW Onikouyou IPA listed as a Hazy IPA, Rockin' Osaru IPA as a Double IPA, and Cheers Ale as a Modern English Pale Ale.

The post also announced sales of value beer tickets. Six cups at each minimum craft beer size cost 5,800 yen; at the basement umbrella, Guinness pints are also eligible; they are valid for six months from the date of purchase; and sales end when they run out. It's a convenient option for people who want to drink a little of several different labels.

Looking ahead, the venue also announced a closing day on Sunday, April 26, and "Chika Sakaba umbrella 15th Party" on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. Like a beer pub tucked underground in Osaka, it sounds like a night where you can casually follow the character of each cask.
