On Tuesday, April 28, Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand in Honkomagome, Bunkyo Ward, announced its tap list for the day along with business hours from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This taproom is attached to the Komagome brewery and is built around a counter and standing-room setup, while always keeping 10 taps on hand. Focused on domestic craft beer, it is an easy place to drop in for an everyday drink with a few snacks or dagashi sweets.

For that day's "Today's on Tap," the lineup included Kohatu Pale Ale / NZ Pale Ale, 5.5%, which highlights hop aroma; Pe-pe-pe / Kveik Pale Ale, 5.5%, brewed with Norwegian yeast; Ryusoso / Italian Pilsner, 5.5%, which suggests a crisp, clean finish; and Yunosu Saison / Yuzu Sour Saison, 6%, layered with yuzu. Also on the board were two collaboration beers with Sanriku Beer: Black IPA a.k.a. Kuro Hitsuji no Ale / Black IPA, 7% and Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a. Shiro Hitsuji no Ale / Belgian Hazy IPA, 6.5%, giving the lineup the kind of distinctive character the shop is known for.

Other beers listed included Komagome Brown / Brown Saison, 6%, which seems set to showcase malt depth; Komagome Best Bitter / English Best Bitter, 4.5%, built with bitterness and crispness in mind; and Kurotobi #4 / Belgian Stout, 7%, a beer that would be a natural fit for the finish. The range runs from a light, lively pale ale to a roasted stout, making it easy to build a smooth flow from the first pint to the last.

In the post, the shop also announced that on the following day, Wednesday, April 29 (national holiday), it would open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and operate a booth at the Nezu Shrine Azalea Festival until 5:00 p.m. as part of the Sendagi JuhlaTokyo family. With weekend event appearances also overlapping, it will be a full day to follow Hinomoto Brewing's domestic craft beer activity while the taproom service and event booth run in parallel.
