Sixteen craft beer vendors gather in Fuchu
Yellow Beer Works has announced its participation in FUCHU BEER GARDEN 2026, held on Keyaki Namiki Street in front of Fuchu Station. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Admission is free, though the event may be canceled in severe weather.
Sixteen craft beer vendors from across Japan will take part, including Yellow Beer Works, BLACK TIDE BREWING, VERTERE, and DD4D BREWING. Nine food vendors, mainly from Fuchu, will also serve food. The program includes live music, a brewery talk show, and a quiz event, creating a festival setting for exploring a wide range of beers.
A Fukushima brewery rooted in farming
Yellow Beer Works is a small brewery operated by Kato Farm, a rice-farming business in Osasa, Fukushima City. The brewery incorporates its own rice and vegetables, as well as locally grown Fukushima fruit, into some of its beers. It also works with hops grown in Fukushima and develops beers with seasonal and changing flavors.
The venue is a one-minute walk from the south exit of Keio Fuchu Station and an eight-minute walk from JR Fuchu-Hommachi Station. For beer fans, the event offers a chance to enjoy Fukushima-made beer with food and music under the keyaki trees. Supplies may be limited, so visitors interested in particular beers may want to arrive early.
