Yachiho Brewing Company, based in Sakuho Town, Minamisaku District, Nagano Prefecture, announced the start of e-commerce sales for its Black Ale by publishing an official blog post titled “Black Ale Is Now Available Online.” The post was published on March 7, 2026. It says the product, which had previously been sold only in the area around the brewery, can now be purchased through the online shop, and states clearly that “all beers are now available for online sales.”

The newly added mail-order item, “Black Ale (350 ml / Alc. 6%),” is described on the online shop as having the rich aroma of malt, full-bodied depth, a smooth mouthfeel, and a bitter finish. It highlights cacao- and coffee-like aromas derived from roasted malt, while also appealing to its suitability for food pairings. The price is 680 yen including tax.

Yachiho Brewing was founded in December 2021. It has promoted a “natural beer” approach that makes use of local conditions such as the high-altitude environment of the Kita-Yatsugatake area (around 1,700 m above sea level), pure spring water, and hops grown in-house. Its official website also emphasizes a brewing philosophy centered on terroir, and this online launch of Black Ale marks a turning point for fans farther away, who can now try the full lineup.

Sales are handled through the company’s online shop on BASE. The shop notes that shipments are made every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so buyers should check delivery timing when placing an order. With a beer that was previously difficult to buy except on site now open to customers nationwide, tasting Yachiho Plateau beers side by side has become a much more realistic pleasure.
