Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen Hakuhou Ver. on the board

Want a Beer, a beer pub in Motoimaizumi, Utsunomiya, is featuring Minoh Beer’s “Peach Weizen Hakuhou Ver.” on August 28, with service from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and last order at 10:00 p.m.

This release is being poured in bottles only, since the pub could not secure a keg this time. Because it is a popular item, it is being offered for drink-in customers only. If you want to take it home, the shop says it can discuss the price case by case.

Hakuhou is presented as one of the best-known peach varieties from Wakayama, and the post highlights its juicy character. That makes it an easy fit for a weizen-style beer with a soft, fruity profile.

Reservations are accepted through the LINE link in the profile. The food list is also strong: sardine arrabbiata-style pasta, roasted Spanish mackerel with house mashed potatoes, Kinka mackerel carpaccio with tomato, peach and prosciutto Genovese, shirasu pizza, and sweet corn pizza all appear on the menu.

With craft beer at the center and natural wine also in the mix, Want a Beer keeps the focus on drink-and-dine pairing rather than just a quick pint.
