NOMENDO Brew Stand to host a two-day monjayaki event with Kawada Monjiyaki Shop
NOMENDO Brew Stand in Koshigaya will host a two-day monjayaki event with Kawada Monjiyaki Shop on July 18 and 19. The brewery says reusable cups will be available, and it is also changing some food and tasting service operations during the event.
NOMENDO Brew Stand, a craft beer specialty spot in Koshigaya, Saitama, announced on Instagram that it will host a monjayaki event with Kawada Monjiyaki Shop. The event will take place at the brewery's taproom over two days: July 18 and July 19. Hours are listed as 15:00-22:30 last order on the 18th and 13:00-19:00 last order on the 19th.
According to the post, the event is being presented as a beer-and-monjayaki pairing. The brewery is also welcoming children to join, which suggests a neighborhood-style gathering rather than a beer-only session. Payment for the monjayaki is set up as a tip-style system, and guests are asked to order at least one drink, including soft drinks.
During the event, guests can use NOMENDO reusable cups, and the brewery is encouraging people to bring their own if they already have one. A refreshed version of the cup will also go on sale from the first day. At the same time, regular tasting sets and food service will be paused during the event hours, although some side items such as salad-style dishes and dry snacks may still be available.
NOMENDO Brew Stand is about a three-minute walk from Koshigaya Station. The brewery obtained its brewing license in January 2024 and became Koshigaya City's first brewery. With both a bar-like service style and a growing lineup, it continues to use in-house events to connect craft beer with local food and community programming.
