Australia's Sailors Grave Brewing announced that it is "back in Japan" and previewed the release of a new beer, "Biru Shiso Lemon Gose", at Novel Craft Brewing in Takaido, Tokyo.

According to the post, this beer is the first release in a collaboration between Sailors Grave and Naru of Falò Brewing, a former brewer at the company and a close friend. It is a gose that combines lemon acidity with shiso, suggesting a recipe built around distinctive craft beer ingredients. Sailors Grave has long been known for its distinctive beers centered on fermentation and local ingredients, and has continued to create expressions that resonate well with Japan.

The release event will be held on Saturday, April 25 at Novel Craft Brewing in Takaido, Tokyo. In addition to a Falò Brewing tap takeover, the venue will host a release event for the collaboration beer with Sailors Grave Brewing. Novel Craft Brewing is a brewery in Suginami, Tokyo, and serves as a community-based base that also creates points of contact with overseas breweries.

This visit to Japan is positioned not as a one-off guest appearance, but as an entry point for future collaborations. The project bringing together Sailors Grave, Falò Brewing, and Novel Craft Brewing is likely to become a valuable opportunity to taste the latest creations from an overseas brewery in Tokyo.
