A craft beer stop in Nihonbashi

Nihonbashi Brewery is a craft beer-focused restaurant located on the first floor of WORK EDITION NIHONBASHI in Nihonbashi Tomizawa-cho, Tokyo. The beer lineup features 13 selections, with seasonal and limited beers regularly changing as kegs run out.

One of the signature beers is NIHONBASHI IPA, an original IPA created from a recipe developed for the restaurant by Trevor Bass, brewmaster of Portland’s organic brewery HUB. Guests can also order it in the restaurant’s distinctive SAKE STYLE presentation, served with the glass placed in a traditional masu box.

Other featured beers include Hitachino Yuzu Lager, which combines lager crispness with bright citrus aromas and refreshing acidity from Japanese yuzu; Suruga Bay Imperial IPA, known for its intense hop aroma and pronounced bitterness; and Hitachino White Ale, a lightly hazy wheat beer brewed with coriander, orange peel, and nutmeg.

The food menu includes dishes that pair naturally with beer, such as assorted sausages, pasta, and pizza. With a broad selection of styles available by the glass, visitors can compare different flavor profiles while matching each beer with a dish.

The restaurant is within walking distance of Bakuro-yokoyama, Higashi-nihombashi, and Ningyocho stations. It works equally well for an after-work pint, a casual meal, or a relaxed tasting session focused on discovering a new favorite beer.
