The beer pub “Want a Beer” in Motoimaizumi, Utsunomiya, has updated its business information and tap list for March 23. Business hours are 15:00〜22:00 (L.O.21:30). In the post, the shop also thanked customers for visiting last weekend, noted that it will be closed for two consecutive days the next day and the day after, and announced that the terrace will be reserved for a private group on Friday, March 27 (the indoor seating will still be available).
There are six craft beers on tap that day.
- Fiction (Hop Kotan)
- Hidden Tresure XPA (Shiokaze Brewing)
- Fruit Basket IPA (Romantic Village)
- Charcoal-roasted Coffee Mild Ale (Shima Brewing)
- Meguri (Karuizawa Q)
- Getsuho ~Moonwalk~ (THE KICHI)
Looking at the lineup, it spans a wide range: West Coast-style beers centered on citrus and tropical aromas, an easy-drinking XPA, and even a Mild Ale that brings out the aroma of coffee. In particular, “Meguri” is introduced as a yuzu saison made with yuzu, while “Getsuho ~Moonwalk~” is presented as an original beer from the Want a Beer collaboration, making this a lineup that makes side-by-side tasting especially appealing.
Want a Beer is an easy choice for anyone who wants to take their time enjoying craft beer in Utsunomiya. The shop is also recommending several seafood-based food items for the day, making it attractive for pairing everything from hop-bitter pours to gentler beers that sit comfortably with food.
