Introducing a classic pilsner from Asahikawa, Hokkaido

Susukino Ale STAND (COCONO SUSUKINO B1F, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido) introduced "Taisetsu Pilsner" from Taisetsu Beer of Asahikawa, Hokkaido. It has 5.0% ABV and is styled as a Pilsner. The beer is described as having a light golden color, fine foam, a refreshing and light aroma, gentle malt sweetness and richness, and a pleasant hop bitterness.

The shop describes this beer as not too heavy, not too bitter, with a crisp finish. It is said to pair well not only with classic snacks like fried chicken, sausages, and fries, but also with grilled fish and salty dishes, making it an easy choice to enjoy with a meal. Its approachable nature also makes it a natural first drink, which is part of the convenience typical of a pilsner.

In true beer-pub style, Susukino Ale STAND offers both in-house service and takeaway. Because beer is available from 10 a.m., it is easy to use for a short drink before meeting someone or for a light drink before noon. In the center of Susukino, the appeal of the shop is that you can casually pick up craft beer without any fuss.

The shop also lets customers check its beers on its EC site, and it says that stock checks and hold requests are possible. Drink it in the shop, or take it home. Taisetsu Pilsner is introduced as a beer that works well either way.
