Santa Anita Week at Ohi Racecourse brings STAR LIGHT craft beer to Umile Square
From July 20 to 24, Ohi Racecourse hosts Santa Anita Week, a five-day friendship event with Santa Anita Park. At STAR LIGHT in Umile Square, visitors can enjoy the venue’s original craft beers: Kölsch, Stout, and Golden Ale.
STAR LIGHT, the beer pub in Umile Square at Ohi Racecourse, is one of the easiest places to enjoy craft beer while taking in the races. From Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, the venue hosts Santa Anita Week, a five-day tie-up with Santa Anita Park in the U.S., and the whole racecourse takes on an American feel.
The house beer is STAR LIGHT CRAFT BEER, available in three styles: Kölsch, Stout, and Golden Ale. The official shop also sells the beers as a three-bottle set. Golden Ale uses Izu deep ocean water and leans fruity, Kölsch is dry with low bitterness, and Stout brings roasted malt aroma and a smooth black-beer finish.
During the event, Umile Square also welcomes EL CAMION, which serves craft beer and beer cocktails. Mint Julep, the Kentucky Derby’s official cocktail, is also on sale, making the area a practical stop for both food and drinks between races.
For beer fans, STAR LIGHT pairs the open-air atmosphere of the racecourse with a lineup that is easy to compare and easy to drink alongside the American food stalls nearby.
