The Cat & Cask Tavern in Kanamecho, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, has announced the beers it will serve on April 1. The character of the shop, a craft beer pub in a standalone house that aims for a calm, relaxing space with a British atmosphere, is reflected directly in its tap lineup.

The lineup for the day starts with three beers: Minoh Pilsner, Minoh Osaru IPA, and Shiga Kogen IPA. Centered on dependable staples of domestic craft beer, the selection pairs hop-forward IPAs with an easy-drinking pilsner. As for beer status, Minoh Pilsner was marked with a remaining-stock notice.

In addition, Matsumoto Brewery Gekizaka Golden Mild Ale appears as a real ale. According to the shop's announcement, this is a collaboration with Kanpai! Brewing, and it occupies the real ale slot that is replaced one cask at a time every Wednesday. With hand pump and draft combined, the shop's craft beer setup is characteristic: three hand-pump taps and three draft taps.

Business hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 18:00 to 22:00. Food last order is 21:00, beer last order is 21:30, and the shop also notes a limit of up to four people per group. Payment is cash on delivery. It is the kind of place that suits a low-key night when you want to take your time and enjoy beer in a small group.
