B.M.B Brewery, based in Miyazaki City, has released Grim Deeper2, an Extra Pale Ale at 5.5% ABV. The product page lists it at JPY 851 and describes it as the second beer in a series connected to IBREW Akihabara, a place that gathers passionate beer fans.
The beer is built on the brewery’s regular Pale Ale, Grim Reaper, but the malt and hop bill have been reworked from scratch. Citra is used as the main hop, with Mosaic DynaBoost among the supporting ingredients. The result is positioned as a hoppier, easy-drinking pale ale rather than a simple dial-up of bitterness or alcohol.
B.M.B Brewery started brewing in Jingu, Miyazaki, in November 2018 and completed a new brewery in Kiyotake in July 2024. Under the concept of from beer to culture, the brewery continues to update its core lineup while reflecting the wider craft beer scene in its releases.
