Good Wolf Brewery, based in Higashiyoshino Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture, announced the completion of a new beer in an Instagram post dated September 6, 2026. The post is titled “A new beer is ready...” but does not provide confirmed details about the product name, beer style, ingredients, alcohol content, or sales schedule.

The brewery produces beer using clear mountain water from the Daikō Mountains, an area often described as the roof of the Kinki region. Its official concept, “Beer brewed in the mountains, drink it with the mountains,” reflects its focus on local character and regional ingredients.

Good Wolf Brewery’s regular lineup includes a Yoshino cedar pale ale, the yuzu-infused Belgian white “Yuzubi,” and “Kuro Wolf,” a stout brewed with roasted tea from Higashiyoshino. Its “MIPA” combines tea grown in the deep mountain region with hops to create an India pale ale with a pleasant bitterness.

The brewery also develops limited and collaborative beers. Recent examples include “Wheatberry,” a dry fruit saison made with selectively harvested Shine Muscat grapes; “YOKOU,” a Gose inspired by the cherry blossoms of Yoshino; and a strawberry weizen made with freshly picked strawberries from Asuka Village. These beers show the brewery’s interest in expressing the flavors of local fruit, plants, and agricultural products.

Details of the newly announced beer, including its name, style, and release information, have not yet been confirmed. Beer fans will want to follow Good Wolf Brewery’s official Instagram and online shop for further updates.
