The Beer Shop Hirakata city, a beer pub directly connected to Keihan Hirakata-shi Station in Hirakata City, Osaka, posted a July 10 tap update featuring a long-awaited arrival from MARCA Brewing (Osaka). The shop said two beers were available now, with two more to be announced soon.
The featured pair is `Berry Shake IPA` and `Coffee Amber`. `Berry Shake IPA` is described as a milkshake IPA brewed with strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. The shop notes a base of lactose and vanilla sweetness, with fruit fermented together in the tank for added depth. `Coffee Amber`, presented as MARCA's signature beer, is an amber-colored beer with a coffee aroma rather than a stout base, making it an easy-drinking option that also works well as a final pour.
The full tap lineup for the day also included:
- Sapporo Brewery `Kurolabel`
- Asobi Brewery (Kyoto) `Yosano no Aooni`
- Craft Beer Base (Osaka) `Old School IPA`
- Craft Beer Base (Osaka) `Lavender & Chamomile`
- Hirakata Beer (Osaka) `Session Citra White`
The result is a lineup that ranges from familiar lager to aromatic specialty beers, with local Osaka and Kyoto pours alongside MARCA's fruit-forward and coffee-accented offerings. The station-side location makes it easy to stop in and check what is on tap.
