The Beer Shop Hirakata city adds two CRAFT BANK beers on Aug. 5
The Beer Shop Hirakata city, a craft beer specialty pub connected to Hirakata City Station, has added two beers from Kyoto’s CRAFT BANK: Bitter Bug and Bank IPA, alongside a wider tap lineup for August 5.
The Beer Shop Hirakata city is a craft beer specialty shop where guests can both buy beer to take home and drink on site. Located on the 3rd floor of Hirakata Sunplaza No. 3, it offers about 4 to 6 draft beers at a time and roughly 150 to 200 bottles and cans, with staff available to help customers choose.
For August 5, the highlight is a two-beer arrival from Kyoto’s CRAFT BANK. Bitter Bug is a collaboration with Pogojiro, a beer shop in Osaka city. It is described as an English bitter brewed with black soybeans, with a mellow profile that evokes hojicha and barley tea. Bank IPA, the brewery’s flagship, is presented as an IPA with hop aroma and moderate bitterness.
The tap list also includes Sapporo Brewery’s Kurolabel, Daisen G Beer’s Weizen, Egret Brewery’s Egret IPA, Revision Brewing’s DIPA, and Hirakata Beer’s Session Citra White. The result is a lineup that ranges from familiar staples to more characterful options.
With direct station access and a format that works for a quick pint or a bottle hunt after drinking, it is a convenient stop for beer fans in Hirakata.
