The beer pub umbrella, located in the basement of the Matsuda Building in 2-chome Sonezaki, Kita Ward, Osaka, announced that it would open at 6 p.m. on April 13 and published the tap list for the day.

The post also mentioned that the team had visited a Finback seminar in New York earlier in the day, and said beers arriving later would also be brought into the basement venue. The current lineup combines the individuality of craft beer with the easy-drinking appeal of classic favorites.

Today's taps

- Akkeshi Coast IPA / Yuitriere (Hokkaido) - West Coast IPA
- Cheers Ale / Eagle Brewery (Hyogo) x Inakiku Sake Shop (Osaka) - Modern English Pale Ale
- Rockin' Osaru IPA / Minoh Beer (Osaka) - Double IPA
- Draft Guinness / Guinness (Ireland) - Draught Guinness
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Beer (JP) - Lager

Looking at the lineup, there are West Coast IPA and Double IPA options for enjoying crisp hop character, alongside an English Pale Ale, Draught Guinness, and a lager. It is a setup that works well both for people who want to start with something light and for those who want to dig into flavor more deeply.

As a beer pub in the basement of Osaka, umbrella seems to emphasize the character of its taps while still being an easy place to drop in without pretense. This time’s update also included talk of the Finback seminar, so it will be worth watching for future arrivals and additional taps.

The post also announced plans for "Chikasakaba umbrella 15th Party" on May 9 and 10.
