Bar Malt Road, a basement beer pub in Kanda-Machi, Tokyo, is rolling out a summer-focused tap list alongside seasonal food. In its post, the bar described the concept as “we have started a delicious summer,” with special dishes made from seasonal ingredients and a rotating selection of craft beers suited to the season.

The day’s tap list includes `Summer Gift vol.Ⅱ`, `Fuller's London Pride`, `Hogan's Original Draught`, `Hofbräu Sommerzwickl Naturtrüb`, `Chimay White`, `Alpine Duet`, `Kyoto Brewing Mangai Fushutsu 2026`, and `Bayern Meister Bier Edel weisse`. The lineup spans the UK, Germany, Belgium, the United States, and Japan, making it a good set for a side-by-side tasting session.

On the food side, the new seasonal dish is `Peach Quattro Formaggi with honey`. The bar tops a chewy pizza-style crust with four cheeses - gorgonzola, mascarpone, grana padano, and mozzarella - then layers on plenty of fresh peach and finishes with honey. It is an easy match for beers with a clean finish or a touch of bitterness.

With its Kanda location and pub-style setting, Bar Malt Road looks like a place to settle in and work through a few different drafts rather than just drop in for one quick pint. The appeal here is the balance: a broad, international tap list paired with a summer food offering built around in-season fruit.
