A Day to Celebrate Noroshi Brewing's Anniversary

At the beer pub "Craft Beer 2mugi" in the Akihabara area, a tap takeover will be held on the holiday of May 5 to mark Noroshi Brewing's first anniversary. Business hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The interior is centered around a counter and has a casual setup that also allows standing drinking, with a standing and cash-on style.

The Lineup for the Day

The draft selection for the day features five taps that showcase Noroshi Brewing's character. The beers on offer are California Common, India Black Lager, American Pale Ale, Saison, and IPA. As a commemorative beer to celebrate the anniversary, the lineup clearly shows the breadth of styles.

In addition, Brett Kinkan Saison will be offered as a bottle pour by the glass. Adding one bottled beer to the five draft beers broadens the enjoyment of tasting side by side. Event pricing is set at 1,000 yen for 320 ml, 1,500 yen for a 473 ml pint, and 1,000 yen for a 180 ml bottle pour.

Food and How to Spend the Day

Food will include menu items made with shiitake mushrooms delivered from Irie Farm. Options such as butter-soy grilled mushrooms and a paste that brings out the savory flavor of shiitake and olives are easy to pair with beer. Around 7:00 p.m., a small event with a chance to win original Noroshi Brewing merchandise is also planned.

Craft Beer 2mugi is a beer pub known for a lineup selected by its owner, who is a Doemens-certified beer sommelier, and it sells not only draft beer but also cans and bottles. From the afternoon through the evening on a holiday, it offers exactly the kind of setup suited to spending a long time tasting beers carefully in Akihabara.
