The beer pub "PUMP craft beer bar" in Minami-Ikebukuro, Tokyo, revealed its latest tap list in an Instagram post on April 30. True to the shop's 15 taps, it connects a wide range of domestic and international craft beers, and the chance to compare them in a flight is part of the appeal.

In that day's post, it announced five kegs opened. As of the previous day, the lineup included Thunder Island Brewing's Funky House Party (Flanders Red Ale), Pizza Port Brewing's Next Horizon IPA, Kind of God (Double IPA), a collaboration among Shiga Kogen, Dogfish Head, and OXBOW, and Final Horizon IPA (Hazy IPA) from 8 bit and Bottle Logic. Added to that was Yuzu Weiss from Yokohama Bay Brewing, creating a lineup with a good balance of acidity, hop character, and drinkability.

Regulars such as Earl Grey (Johana Beer), Pale Ale (Beer Hearn), Blazing Buds (West Coast Brewing), Full Hop Alchemist r7 (West Coast Brewing), and Elijah’s Old Buffalo (Ex Novo Brewing) were also on tap, making for a lineup that ranges widely from clear styles to Double IPAs, fruit beers, and barrel-aged beers.

The space is open and offers American food to pair with the craft beer. With no cover charge and no smoking indoors, it's an easy place to drop by for a beer-focused stop. The post also announced Golden Week hours: open continuously from May 2 through 6, and closed on May 7 as a substitute holiday. If you're drinking in the Ikebukuro area before or after the long holiday, this is one place worth checking for tap turnover.
