Two guest beers on tap

Citraba Koenji, a craft beer pub in Koenji, has announced two guest beers in its latest Instagram post. The lineup features Yatsugatake Beer Tatchdown's "Mizudashi Coffee Lager (Ethiopia)" and BEPPU BREWERY's "Kabosu Saison".

"Mizudashi Coffee Lager (Ethiopia)" is built on the brewery's regular beer, "Kiyosato Lager," and brewed with beans from CRU COFFEE. The result is a coffee beer with a lager-like, clean finish, layered with coffee aroma and a light bitterness that should work well with food.

"Kabosu Saison" uses kabosu from Beppu and leans into a bright citrus profile. The post describes it as fresh and refreshing, with a crisp acidity that suits the season.

As a beer pub, Citraba also serves food alongside the drinks. The post mentions the daily lunch set, yurinchi teishoku, a fried chicken plate with a sweet and tangy sauce that looks like a natural match for beer. On weekdays from 16:00 to 18:00, pint-size craft beers are 200 yen off, and all lemon sours are priced at 390 yen during happy hour.

With one beer bringing coffee aroma and the other showcasing kabosu-driven freshness, the tap list offers two very different directions in one visit.
