In Shimosuwa Town, Nagano Prefecture, 'Dagashi to Beer to Coffee no Omise Chiitoko Shoten' is open on May 3 from 10:00 to 22:00. The shop operates as a community-focused beer pub where dagashi, coffee, and craft beer can all be enjoyed in the same space.

In that day’s post, in addition to information about dine-in and takeout, the lineup of draft beers was announced. Four beers are on tap:

- Taiyo no Lager (5.0%) / Miyazaki Hideji Beer
- Snow Monkey IPA Silver Label (6.0%) / Shiga Kogen Beer
- Stormy Red Wine Barrel Aged Saison (6.0%) / Uchoten Brewing
- Rising Sun Pale Ale (5.5%) / Baird Brewing

In the post text, Shiga Kogen Beer’s 'Snow Monkey IPA Silver Label ver' is introduced as a beer with citrus and tropical notes, the softness brought by oats, a dry finish, and a pleasantly moderate bitterness. It also says Uchoten Brewing’s 'Stormy' is down to its last few servings, so if you want it, it would be best to come early.

Food offerings include not only dagashi but also shortbread, banana bread, chocolate banana bread, whole-wheat scones, chilled chocolate brownies, oat chocolate chip cookies, sausage rolls, and cream ice cream. It works just as well for having only one beer as it does for relaxing slowly while nibbling on something sweet.

The shop is located in Shimotakacho, making it an easy stop as you walk through Shimosuwa’s shopping district. While craft beer is the main draw, the way dagashi and coffee naturally coexist is part of what makes this place unique. Today feels like the kind of day to taste four draft beers side by side and soak in the atmosphere of the shopping street as well.
