Service notice and tap list for May 1
Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand in Komagome, Tokyo, announced service on Friday, May 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. True to its nature as a beer stand attached to a brewery, the lineup for the day will center on house-brewed beer across 10 taps. A pop-up in the Ikebukuro area is also planned for the following day, the 2nd, making it a day of moving between the shop and an event.
Beers on the day
The post features a lineup with clearly defined aroma profiles. For example, Kohatu Pale Ale / NZ Pale Ale, Pe-Pe-Pe / Kveik Pale Ale, Seiten Raimei / West Coast IPA, and Ryusui Sousa / Italian Pilsner offer a composition that lets you enjoy the character of hops and yeast. In addition, Yunosu Saison / Yuzu Sour Saison, Komagome Brown / Brown Saison, Komagome Best Bitter / English Best Bitter, and Kurotobi #4 / Belgian Stout are also on tap.
As collaboration offerings, Black Sheep Ale / Black IPA and White Sheep Ale / Belgian Hazy IPA are introduced as a Sanriku Beer collaboration. With a wide range from pale ale and IPA to pilsner, saison, bitter, and stout, it is a lineup that makes it easy to keep drinking from lighter styles to fuller ones.
About the shop
Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand is a brewpub where you can always enjoy house-brewed beer. The interior is centered on counter seating and standing room, creating an easygoing, unpretentious atmosphere. The food is basically light snacks such as Kakipi and dagashi-style sweets, making it a space better suited to letting beer take center stage than to sitting down for a full meal.
Weekend plans
The post also announces a pop-up at IKEBUKURO LIVING LOOP on May 2. In addition, it says special snacks will be available at the taproom for three days starting May 3, so there will be activity both in the shop and at outside events. It is the kind of place you may want to add to your weekend plans, whether for a drink in Komagome or a stop on the way back from an Ikebukuro event.
