On May 24, iSANA Brewing Will Host a TAP Takeover

The highlight is the iSANA Brewing TAP Takeover to be held on Sunday the 24th. The post describes it as the "first in San'in," and the event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. last order. It will be offered on all eight taps, and guests are free to come and go. The post also announced that President Chida will be visiting, giving attendees a chance to speak with him directly.

The beer lineup will feature eight kinds of iSANA Brewing craft beer, and the post says it will be a chance to drink popular Tokyo craft beers at Serupowa. The post does not list the individual beer names, but the event is set up so guests can enjoy comparing multiple taps side by side.

A Day to Enjoy with Food

Event-only menu items include a burger made with Tottori Wagyu and Manyo beef, along with special dishes designed to pair with the beer. During the May 4 and 5 "Hirupowa" service, Serupowa plans to offer its special Neapolitan-style spaghetti, though some of the details are still undecided.

While maintaining a French influence, Serupowa continues to operate as a beer pub with an eye toward pairing with craft beer. May has quite a few closed days, but the TAP Takeover on the 24th looks set to be a rare chance to enjoy a solid lineup of iSANA Brewing beers in Matsue.
