Kobe's Brasserie. A Route Releases New DDH IPA for 1st Anniversary of Brewing License
Brasserie. A Route in Kobe's Nada Ward will release a new DDH IPA to coincide with the first anniversary of obtaining its brewing license on May 2. On May 2 and 3, it will also hold anniversary events with a merchandise lottery and in-store perks.
Brasserie. A Route, in the Suidosuji area of Nada Ward, Kobe, is celebrating one year since obtaining its brewing license. On the shop's Instagram, it announced that it will release a new IPA on May 2. The new release is a DDH IPA packed with hops. It is a new house-brewed beer launched to mark this anniversary milestone.
The brewery opened in 2025 as a brewery with brewing equipment attached, and has been building a shop that blends into the streetscape of Kobe's Nada district. Because it is located in the Suidosuji shopping street area, its defining feature is how close it feels, a place you can drop into as an extension of everyday shopping or dining. What kind of beer will a brewery with a local atmosphere put out after a year? The anniversary release also serves as a chance to learn about its progress.
For the two days of May 2 and 3, the brewery will also hold its regular dice lottery event. If you drink four half-pints, or the equivalent of 1.5 pints, you can try once, and if you roll doubles you win an anniversary T-shirt. There are no losers, and even if you don't roll doubles, you'll get a small snack. The post also notes that May 2 and 3 are the season of the Suidosuji danjiri festival, and calls on people to visit at a time when the whole area is lively.
This announcement combines a new IPA with a participatory event to mark the one-year milestone. It looks set to be an event where you can taste both the brewery's journey and the seasonal atmosphere of the shopping street at the same time.
