Sunao Brewery brews a collaboration beer with Burger POLICE Kasukabe; opening planned for early July
Akita-based Sunao Brewery has brewed a collaboration beer with Burger POLICE Kasukabe. The brewery says the beer was made with help from the restaurant’s manager, Leo, and shaped as a classic pilsner designed to pair with burgers. It is scheduled to be tapped in early July.
A beer connecting Yokote and Kasukabe
Sunao Brewery, based in Yokote City, Akita, has brewed a collaboration beer with Burger POLICE Kasukabe, a wagyu burger bistro in Saitama. On its official site, Sunao Brewery describes its approach as brewing with care for nature and people, rooted in the rich environment of Yokote.
The restaurant joined the brew day
According to the brewery’s Instagram post dated June 3, 2026, Burger POLICE Kasukabe manager Leo traveled to Yokote and helped with the brewing process. The post also says the restaurant’s original buns were added, and the beer was built as a classic pilsner meant to go well with hamburgers. It is a collaboration that puts the pairing of burgers and beer at the center.
Scheduled for early July
The beer is planned to be tapped in early July. Burger POLICE Kasukabe is known for its wagyu burgers made with 100% Japanese Black beef and its bistro dishes, making the collaboration especially fitting for a meal-focused drinking occasion.
Sunao Brewery continues to build on its Yokote identity while connecting with food and drink businesses outside Akita. This release looks like a straightforward, food-friendly collaboration that should interest beer fans who enjoy clean pilsners and well-matched pairings.
