Brewing a 7th anniversary beer and visiting makers in Shiga

The craft beer pub Bar FUKURO in Kamata, Tokyo, brewed an original beer to celebrate its 7th anniversary. The collaboration partner was `@farmentry` in Kashihara, Nara Prefecture. The brew was carried out alongside a barbecue, and the beer is said to use oysters. The official name has not yet been announced, but it is sure to become a landmark release for the shop.

On the second day, the team traveled to Shiga, first visiting `@antelope_meadery`. After touring the brewing facilities and hearing about mead, they also helped with bottling. At `@florafermentation` in Higashiomi City, they confirmed efforts to use some barley and hops grown on the brewery's own farm, and also heard about the passion behind lager production and the outlook for wild ales.
