Susukino e-ru STAND is a standing-bar style craft beer shop on the B1F of COCONO SUSUKINO in central Sapporo, right in front of Exit 4 of Susukino Station. The large noren softens the view from the street, and the space is set up for quick stops before dinner or between errands.

The new arrival is permanent brewing’s guest beer, permanent HUNTER “SIESTA.” Based in Sapporo’s Minami Ward, the brewery describes it as a wheat-driven beer with mellow acidity from Kawachi bankan citrus, a herbal note from lemon balm, and coriander in the background. The result is a bright, refreshing, slightly spicy beer that feels well suited to summer drinking.

The shop mainly curates Hokkaido craft beers and also serves food built for beer pairing, including hamon serrano. With its clear citrus profile and fresh herbal lift, SIESTA should work both as an opening beer and as a companion to food. For drinkers who want something crisp but not simple, it is an easy beer to notice on the shelf.
