On May 10 in Kobe's Nada Ward, at Suido-suji Shopping Street, a joint anniversary festival by five eateries, "5 (Go) Gattsu daze!", will be held at the shared kitchen "MUSUBU-do." Making its first appearance this time is the craft beer brewery "Brasserie. A Route."

The brewery is based in Suido-suji Shopping Street and opened after obtaining a liquor brewing license in May last year. It is notable for brewing with spring water from Mount Maya in Kobe, aiming for a drink that connects with the local food culture. As a brewery making beer in the heart of Kobe, its close ties to the local community are also part of its appeal.

Also taking part in the anniversary festival are the creative cuisine restaurant "MAIRO," wine shop "Bi.TO.WA," kiln-baked pizza shop "Pizzeria RICCA," and casual French restaurant "Pas A Pas." On the day, Brasserie. A Route will offer two kinds of craft beer, creating a lineup that can be enjoyed alongside each shop's dishes. Owner Sohei Hashimoto is calling on visitors to enjoy the pairings with each restaurant's food.

Live performances of the erhu and keyboard are also planned at the venue, along with bingo time, making this more than just a food-and-drink event. This anniversary festival, bringing together shops rooted in the everyday life of Suido-suji Shopping Street and combining their individual personalities, is likely to become an opportunity to rediscover the charm of the neighborhood through craft beer.
