PUB Karr, on the second floor of Anraku Building off Haramachi-dori Rokkaku in Kyoto, posted its June 23 tap update. The bar opens at 6 p.m., and while it notes a temporary issue with the staircase lights, service continues as usual. It has the feel of a neighborhood beer pub where a pint can be paired with records and a relaxed late-evening stop.

The new arrival is FLORA FERMENTATION’s Coffee Cherry Dunkel. The post says it uses cascara, the dried outer skin of coffee cherries selected by 2050coffee, which suggests a beer with roasty depth and a subtle fruit-skin character. For beer drinkers, it is a notable example of a brewery working with ingredients beyond the usual range.

Tap list:

- Kyoto Brewing Shukyu 6 Days
- Kyoto Brewing Ichigo Ichie
- FLORA FERMENTATION Cascara
- FLORA FERMENTATION Utsurobone
- Asahi Maruef

The lineup mixes two Kyoto Brewing staples, two FLORA FERMENTATION beers, and a familiar Asahi option, so the bar offers both discovery and an easy first round. It is a practical stop for anyone looking for craft beer in central Kyoto.
