DevilCraft Gotanda Branch Adds Overseas IPAs and Sours to Its 18-Tap Guest Lineup
DevilCraft Gotanda’s latest tap list has been updated, and among the 18 taps, the guest lineup includes Pizza Port’s Double IPA, Minoh Beer’s Bohemian Pilsner, and Left Hand’s Milk Stout. It’s a lineup that makes side-by-side comparisons with the house regulars easy.
Latest Tap List at the Gotanda Branch
The latest tap list has been unveiled at DevilCraft Gotanda, a beer pub in Tokyo’s Gotanda area. The shop is located on the 9th floor of the Seijitsu Building, a one-minute walk from the west exit of JR Gotanda Station, and is an easy place to visit for a meal, with Chicago-style pizza as its signature dish. The interior accommodates both English and Japanese, making it easy to build an evening from a first beer you came for and a second one to pair with your meal.
This time, the list is built around 18 taps, offering a wide range of styles centered on DevilCraft’s own house brews, along with guest beers. The guest lineup includes Pizza Port’s Mongo (Double IPA), Minoh Beer’s Bohemian Pilsner, and Hinterland Brewery’s Hinterland IPA. Also confirmed are Left Hand Brewing’s Peanut Butter Milk Stout, Shimoda Brewing’s Nova Fruit Sour, and Ace Cider’s Ace Perry, covering everything from hop-forward IPAs to roast-driven stouts, tart fruit sours, and cider.
One of the most DevilCraft-like highlights is being able to sample house beers and guest beers side by side in the same space. For example, if you start with the guest Mongo and enjoy its bold hop character, then move on to the house-made IPA or lager, the differences in bitterness and aroma design become easy to grasp. It is a setup that lets craft beer fans slowly explore a wide range of styles while eating pizza.
In Gotanda, this is the kind of lineup that invites a night of comparison drinking, starting not with a standard pint, but with guest beers as the point of departure.
