An announcement about a tap update has come from Sankt Gallen TAP ROOM, right by the north exit of Hon-Atsugi Station. The main point this time is the changeover accompanying a lineup rotation.

First, the beer marked as having its "last day today" in the post was White Grape Weizen. The description says it is a wheat beer made with juice from three kinds of white grapes: Niagara, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay, and that its fruity character is the key feature. It is presented as a glass that layers white grape fruitiness onto the soft drinkability typical of a Weizen.

Next on tap, the venue announced Whey Sour Ale Strawberry. A sweet-and-tart strawberry sour ale is said to be "tapped from tomorrow," passing the baton to the shop's fruit-beer lineup.

The shop is Sankt Gallen's directly operated beer pub, and according to official information it serves up to 20 kinds of draft beer. From standard ales to seasonal fruit beers, one of its strengths is that you can choose across styles within the same venue. It also offers takeout, so it is easy to combine having a drink in the shop with taking beer home. A timing like this, when a "last chance before it disappears" beer is followed immediately by a "newly tapped" beer, is where the true appeal of a taproom really comes through.
