BEER OLYN in Kagurazaka showcases three new Totopia Brewery releases and 10 draft beers
On April 23, the Kagurazaka beer pub BEER OLYN introduced Totopia Brewery's Neonphobia, Kodamaphobia, and Biasphobia in a post. Along with the arrival of Nara Brewing's Light House, it also announced a lineup of 10 draft beers including Kyoto Brewing and MONKISH.

Hop BroNice catch. Neonphobia is a DH Sour IPA, Kodamaphobia is a DDH Hazy DIPA, and Biasphobia is a 2x Mash DDH Hazy TIPA, so even though they're all Totopia, each one has a totally different personality.
MugiDDH and 2x Mash sound like spells! There are so many technical terms that my head starts spinning, but are they actually good?
Hop BroBroadly speaking, DDH is a brewing method that layers in plenty of hops to bring out a stronger aroma. 2x Mash is a process that makes it easier to draw out a richer wort, so you can think of it as leading to a denser, more substantial drink.

BEER OLYN, located on the 3rd floor of DEAR Kagurazaka, a one-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station, is a beer pub with a wide selection of bottles and draft beers. According to the shop's website, it always offers more than 150 kinds of craft beer selected from Japan and overseas in bottles, plus more than 10 taps, and it supports both drinking in the store and takeout.
In an Instagram post on April 23, the pub centered its update on three beers from @totopiabrewery and introduced a lineup worth watching right now. The beers featured were:
- Neonphobia / Totopia Brewery
- Kodamaphobia / Totopia Brewery
- Biasphobia / Totopia Brewery
All three are Totopia-style beers with hop and fruit elements, and the lineup includes different styles: DH Sour IPA, DDH Hazy DIPA, and 2x Mash DDH Hazy TIPA. In addition, it was noted that Nara Brewing's Light House had also just arrived, and with the topic of Japanese breweries winning medals at the World Beer Cup, it makes you want to check out both the tap list and the bottle selection.
That day's "now on tap" lineup included Kyoto Brewing's Worion, NOVORU's musubu, VATTEN's OFF SIDE, RIKRI's No Interruption, MONKISH's Taste Bud, Taihu Brewing's Hoso-kusa and Kinome, Hetty Alice's Big Fog, and Tekikaka Cider's Tekikaka Cider Koutoku.
