Shiokaze Brewlab TTO to Be Held at IBREW Ginza on 3/28-29, Early Tapping of Ginza Kölsch
A Shiokaze Brewlab Tap Takeover will be held over two days, March 28 and 29, at CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Ginza. The planned tap count is more than 25, the most ever in Shiokaze Brewlab history. The early tapping of the collaboration beer “Ginza Kölsch” has also been announced, making this look like a highly anticipated weekend.
At the beer pub CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Ginza in Tokyo's Yaesu district, a Shiokaze Brewlab Tap Takeover has been announced. The event will run from Saturday, March 28, to Sunday, March 29.
What stands out first in the announcement is the planned tap count. The post describes it as “25 taps over”, and it is expected to be the largest-scale lineup in Shiokaze Brewlab's history. On the day of the event, Chris, brewer Takashi, and sales staff Riki are scheduled to visit from Shiokaze Brewlab (a detailed schedule will be announced later).
The beer highlight is the early tapping of “Ginza Kölsch”, a collaboration with IBREW Ginza. It is presented as a beer designed in homage to Shiokaze Brewlab's regular “Keiyo Kölsch,” with IBREW also involved in recipe development and brewing. The post also recommends comparing it with Keiyo Kölsch, so this should be a chance to experience the design differences within the same style.
Food will be handled by Chef Anesaki. Special menu items are planned that combine elements from Chris's American roots with ingredients from Chiba, where Shiokaze Brewlab is based. The detailed beer lineup is slated for release soon, so it would be worth checking for additional information before attending.
