The beer pub Craft Beer 2mugi in Kanda-Izumi-cho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, has updated its draft lineup. The shop opened that day on Wednesday from 15:00-23:00. At a time that's easy to stop by after work, it is serving a wide range of beers, from hop-forward IPAs to clean lager styles.

Today's tap lineup

- TAP1: Yorocco Beer / Swallow's Humming / Golden Ale
- TAP2: BREWCCOLY / Low-Head system / West Coast IPA
- TAP3: Songbird Beer / L’orage / Brown Ale
- TAP4: KIRIZUMI / TOKYO HELLES / Helles
- TAP5: Inkhorn Brewing / Lapwing #2 / Hazy DIPA
- TAP6: TK Brewing / Kawasakey / Red Ale (LOW STOCK)

The highlight is KIRIZUMI's TOKYO HELLES, introduced as a new tap. The post says it is Basti's recipe, the same Basti who will serve as a lecturer at an event on June 3, making it a beer you can enjoy along with the story behind how it was brewed. It also notes that TK Brewing's Kawasakey is down to the last few pours, so anyone interested should check it out soon.

Looking at the lineup as a whole, it features a broad range of styles, from a West Coast IPA for citrus and bitterness, to a mellow Brown Ale, a crisp Helles, and a rich Hazy DIPA, giving drinkers plenty of variety for a tasting session in one place. In a calm area of Kanda, it is the kind of shop suited to a day when you want to move back and forth between classics and distinctive brews while working through several glasses.
