Nagoya’s Nishiki-area beer pub, BEER PUB BRICK LANE, announced “Biryani x Records” as its April 25 (Saturday) event. According to the caption, the featured dish will be chicken biryani prepared in the pakki style, with chicken marinated overnight and cooked in layers with fried onions and basmati rice. It is finished with fried onions, egg achar, and coriander, creating a dish that emphasizes aroma while remaining easy to eat.

On the same day, there will also be a special pop-up by the sister shop `@usedlikenewbeer`, offering two kinds of spice scones. In addition, the venue will play records from the 1980s and 1990s, and guests are free to bring their own, making it possible to spend the day in a way that centers on music and food rather than the usual beer-pub experience.

The beer lineup is led by Totopia Brewery. Under “Today’s on Tap,” the list includes 10 beers: Keyphobia, Trapphobia, Quartzphobia, Biasphobia, Boxphobia, Kodamaphobia, Nullphobia, Duskphobia, Sirenphobia, and Neonphobia. As the names suggest, it is a lineup that feels distinctly Totopia Brewery, and there should be plenty of enjoyment in working through them alongside the biryani and scones.

BEER PUB BRICK LANE is a beer pub located on the first floor of the Sando Building Nishiki, 1-7-27 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi. Centered on craft beer and hamburgers, the shop is known for letting guests enjoy beer at the counter in front of the taps. This time, the food, music, and tap list come together as one, making it an attention-grabbing business announcement for beer fans.
