Darumaya in Ikebukuro Releases Six New Daruma Beers
Darumaya Record & Craft Beer in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is offering six new varieties in its original Daruma Beer series. Created in collaboration with Asakusabashi-based VECTOR BREWING, the lineup ranges from Hazy IPA to Weizen, with a 50th-anniversary beer from Rough Trade Records also available.
Darumaya Record & Craft Beer, a beer pub and record shop in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, has released six new beers in its original Daruma Beer series.
The beers were created in collaboration with VECTOR BREWING in Asakusabashi, Tokyo. The lineup is organized by label color and beer style: Orange is a Hazy IPA, Gold is a Strong Hazy IPA, and Pink is a Pink IPA.
The series also includes Yellow Wheat Pale Ale, White Weizen, and Red Pale Ale. With six different styles to choose from, the collection offers an easy way to compare hop-forward, wheat-based, and classic pale ale profiles in one visit.
Darumaya is currently operating a paid craft beer tasting corner. Visitors can enjoy beer while browsing the shop’s selection of records and CDs, making the venue a distinctive stop for people interested in both music and brewing. New LPs are also regularly added to the store.
The shop has additionally received the ROUGH TRADE RECORDS 50th Anniversary Beer. Its arrival adds another music-related beer to a venue already built around the connection between records and craft beer.
