Tengu Brewery, based in Maebashi, has announced that it will take part in KANPAI! GUNMA 2026, a large tasting event bringing together drinks and food from across Gunma. The festival will be held at G Messe Gunma on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26.

More than 100 beverages will be available at the event, including sake, craft beer, wine, cider, and gin. Visitors can use tasting tickets to sample a wide range of drinks in smaller pours, making the festival an opportunity to explore Gunma’s diverse drinking culture. This year’s event will also collaborate with the Gunma Meat Festival, adding plenty of pairing possibilities for beer fans.

Tengu Brewery’s booth is scheduled to offer three draft beers: “Today’s Special,” “Totono’u,” and “Like Chablis.” The lineup suggests a varied tasting experience, from a beer selected especially for the day to a potentially wine-inspired option.

“Today’s Special” carries the appeal of an event-only discovery. “Totono’u” sounds suited to relaxed drinking alongside food, while “Like Chablis” may attract visitors interested in a beer with white-wine-like aromas, acidity, or a crisp finish. The exact character of each pour will be best experienced at the brewery’s booth.

The available beers and the number of tasting tickets required may change, so visitors should check the official event information before attending. For craft beer lovers, KANPAI! GUNMA 2026 offers a chance to enjoy Tengu Brewery’s beers alongside Gunma’s sake and local cuisine.
